Drew Nichols

Administrative Assistant

Drew Nichols, Administrative Assistant, joined the Regional Climate Protection Authority in 2016. He is responsible for supporting SCTA/RCPA operations in assembling, coordinating, and publishing committee agendas, and transcribing minutes of the meetings. He provides staff support in communications through telephone calls, mail and email correspondence, receiving visitors, and coordinates meeting calendars, as well as responding to, and fielding, public inquiries.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Drew earned his Bachelor’s of Art degree from Sonoma State University with a double major study in Political Science and in German Cultural Studies. As well, Drew studied at the University of Tübingen in southern Germany where he spent time studying “Stuttgart 21,” a current reconstruction project of the central train station in Stuttgart, Germany. Prior to joining the SCTA, Drew interned for state Senator McGuire, was involved in local politics through the 2016 election, and for three years was involved with the National Model United Nations program at SSU.

Drew is currently studying for a Master’s in Public Administration at Sonoma State University.
